Training Submission Information
- April 7, 2025 - Deadline for all training proposals
- April 21, 2025 - Trainings selected
- April 28, 2025 - Trainings confirmed
- May 5, 2025 - Trainings schedule announced
Selected trainers will receive:
- A free general admission ticket to camp.
- $20 per attendee for half-day trainings.
- $40 per attendee for full-day trainings.
Trainer Agreement
By submitting a training to Drupal Camp Asheville you agree to the following:
- That you will follow the Code of Conduct.
- That you haven't been asked not to attend or speak at Drupal community events.
- If selected, you will attend the camp (July 11th, 2025) and present your training.
- If you need to cancel your attendance and/or presentation, you will notify the camp organizers as soon as possible so that they can arrange for a substitution.
- That you will not include any proprietary material in your training that you do not have the legal right to include.
- That you will not use the training to specifically promote products or services.
Training Information
- Half-day trainings will be 9am - 12pm or 1 - 4pm, and full-day trainings will be 9am - 4pm.
- Offer breaks, especially the afternoon break scheduled for 2:30pm with refreshed coffee and snacks.
- Lunch will be 12 - 1pm in the dining hall.
- Trainers should plan to arrive in their classrooms room at least 15 minutes beforehand to set up.
- You should bring:
- Your laptop and power adaptor (and a converter if needed)
- A sunny disposition
- Your presentation/slides (locally on your laptop - our wifi is good, but just in case...)
- A cable to connect your laptop via HDMI (we expect to have these, but it is good to be prepared)
